Ingredients

  • 1 package Pillsbury pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp marinara plus more for dipping
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 18 pepperoni
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Unroll the pizza dough onto a large greased or floured work surface. Roll the dough out with a rolling pin so it is slightly longer and thinner.
  • Spread a thin layer of marinara onto pizza dough, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges to account for oozing. Top marinara with a layer of cheese and then pepperoni.
  • With the short edge of the dough facing you, roll up the dough away from you. With a sharp knife, carefully cut the roll into eight equal pieces.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, oregano and salt.
  • Baking instructions: place pizza rolls on a parchment lined baking sheet, brush tops and sides with butter mixture and bake at 400°F for 20-22 minutes, or until golden brown.
Air fryer instructions: place pizza rolls on a lined air fryer basket, brush tops and sides with butter mixture and air fry at 350°F for 5-7 minutes, flip pizza rolls and air fry for another 5 minutes.
  • Allow pizza rolls to cool for 5 minutes, then serve along side marinara sauce for dipping.
