Servings: 12
- 16 oz pizza dough
- 8 eggs beaten
- breakfast sausage links casings removed
- 6 oz cheddar cheese grated
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease well and set aside.
In the same skillet, scramble the eggs with salt and pepper just until set. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Roll the pizza dough out on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle.
Evenly spread the scrambled eggs over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Top with cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese.
Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough into a log, tucking in the filling as you go. Pinch the seams and ends closed.
Transfer the loaf seam-side down onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush the loaf all over with egg wash.
Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
