- 1 baguette
- 2 pears
- 4 oz blue cheese (creamy variety is best)
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp fresh thyme chopped
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice baguette into 1/2 inch slices at a bias. Arrange the baguette slices on a prepared baking sheet and bake for 5–8 minutes, until golden and crisp.
While the baguette toasts, thinly slice the pears and mash or whip the blue cheese until creamy.
Once the baguette slices are toasted, spread on a layer of blue cheese and top each one with a few slices of pear. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with chopped walnuts and fresh thyme.
