Get in the Christmas spirit with this fun and festive white chocolate peppermint martini! Perfect for anything from a cozy night in watching Christmas movies to a holiday party with all your friends.

This white chocolate peppermint martini features vodka, peppermint schnapps and Godiva white chocolate liqueur. The fun candy cane rim adds an extra layer of peppermint flavor.

Not only is white chocolate peppermint martini fun and easy to make, it’s delicious, pepperminty and packs the right amount of punch.

Ingredients

Candy canes: the candy canes are crushed and used to rim the martini glasses for an extra festive flair.
White Chocolate
: the white chocolate is melted and used to adhere the crushed candy cane to the rim of the martini glass.
Vodka: you can use regular vodka, or a flavored vodka, such as vanilla, whipped cream or peppermint.
Peppermint Schnapps: adds the peppermint flavor to this cocktail.
White Chocolate Liqueur: makes this cocktail creamy and chocolatey!

Equipment

Cocktail shaker
Jigger
Martini Glasses
Small rubber spatula
Small plate

Instructions

Add white chocolate to a microwave safe bowl and microwave in 20 second increments until melted. Use a small rubber spatula to spread the white chocolate around the rim the martini glass.

Crush candy canes into fine crumb and place on a small plate. Roll the rim of the martini glass in the crushed candy cane until fully coated.

Steps for making a white chocolate peppermint martini.

Add ice to a cocktail shaker, then add vodka, peppermint schnapps and white chocolate liqueur. Cover the shaker with the lid and shake vigorously for 20 seconds.

Strain the cocktail into the prepared martini glass. Enjoy immediately.

Tips

  • The white chocolate hardens quickly, so be sure to have your candy cane pieces ready to dip into right away to ensure they stick.
  • Ensure your candy cane is crushed into fine crumbs or it may slide or fall off the glass.
  • Chill your martini glass in the freezer for 20 minutes before preparing your cocktail.

Can I make this white chocolate peppermint martini non-alcoholic?

You can turn this drink into a mocktail with 4 oz of whole milk, 2 oz of white chocolate and 1/8 teaspoon of peppermint extract.

Melt together the milk and white chocolate over low heat. Allow to cool, then shake with peppermint extract and ice, then strain into a glass.

Substitutions

White chocolate: you can use vanilla frosting in place of the white chocolate to rim the martini glass.
Candy canes: round peppermint candies can be used instead of candy canes.
Vodka: this recipe calls for regular vodka, but you can use vanilla, peppermint, whipped cream or other fun flavors to add some additional festivity to the drink.
